University Partnerships That Strengthen Schools and Shape Clinicians
Universities and graduate clinicians need more than a placement. They need a training environment that is structured, supervised, mission-driven, and deeply connected to the real needs students and schools are facing today.
SeedWell™ partners with universities across Central Texas to host graduate clinical students in meaningful school-based placements that prepare them for the realities of counseling, social work, and student support. At a time when many programs are searching for high-quality field opportunities and future clinicians are looking for mentorship, strong supervision, and practical experience, SeedWell™ offers a model built on both service and legacy.

Where Training Meets Real-World Need
Many universities face the challenge of securing placements that are not only compliant, but also developmental, supportive, and aligned with what students need to become capable clinicians. Many graduate students need more than hours logged. They need clear guidance, hands-on experience, ethical support, and the confidence that comes from being mentored well.
SeedWell™ helps meet that need by providing a school-based partnership model that combines clinical experience, relational mentorship, and real-world collaboration inside the systems students will one day serve.
Rooted in Experience, Designed for Impact
SeedWell™ has been hosting and mentoring graduate clinical students since 2009. That long-standing commitment has created a strong foundation for universities seeking trusted placement partnerships and for graduate students seeking a meaningful launch into their profession.
This is not a temporary internship model. It is a legacy of investing in future clinicians while expanding support for children, families, and schools.

Supervision That Shapes Strong Clinicians
Graduate students placed through SeedWell™ receive supervision and mentorship designed to support both professional development and ethical, competent care.
Clinical supervision is led by Lori Seeds Payne, LCSW-S, whose experience helps emerging clinicians grow in confidence, decision-making, relational skill, and systems awareness. Students are supported through structured supervision, practical feedback, case reflection, and mentorship that helps bridge the gap between graduate education and real-world clinical work.
At SeedWell™, supervision is not treated like a checkbox. It is treated as a core part of how strong clinicians are formed.
Supporting the Priorities Schools Already Carry
SeedWell™ partners with schools and districts to place graduate clinicians within environments where student needs are real, layered, and often interconnected.
Students gain experience serving within a multisystem team, collaborating with school counselors, educators, administrators, family systems, and other support professionals.
This gives future clinicians exposure to how care actually happens in school settings: through teamwork, communication, early intervention, and coordinated support.

Aligned with School Needs
SeedWell™ is designed to support the priorities schools are already carrying, including student well-being, behavioral and emotional support, family connection, and stronger systems of care.
Our partnership model aligns with the needs of Central Texas schools and with the broader goals often reflected in district initiatives, student support frameworks, and TEA-aligned mental health and wellness efforts.
Universities benefit from a trusted field partner. Graduate students benefit from meaningful preparation. Schools benefit from added capacity and thoughtful collaboration. Most importantly, students and families benefit from stronger support.
